At first glance, it’s a picture of Earth. Not much different from all those pictures of Earth you’ve seen over the years. That is until you realize that most of the Asgardians of the Galaxy shirt pictures of Earth you’ve seen over the years have been the same photograph — the “Blue Marble” taken by Apollo 17 astronauts in 1972, more than four decades ago. There are not many photographs showing a fully illuminated Earth, because the camera has to be between the Earth and sun, while far enough away to capture the whole planet. Weather satellites in geosynchronous orbit can get a similar view, but not quite the entire hemisphere. Also, they are over a single location and the planet is partly in shadow most of the time.

To be honest the photo was from the day my uncle died, the same guy who gave me the rag and the man who I was named after. As for you turkeys, you are quite amusing. Never had a keyboard warrior offend me yet It’s hilarious how some people comment, that they can’t see the Asgardians of the Galaxy shirt equatorial bulge and they should see it. Hahaha.. the bulge is about of earth diameter. So for every 500 pixels in the image’s width, the bulge would be about 1 pixel wide.
The image looks so vivid that I thought it was fake at first glance, however after looking more closely, you can see hurricane Dolores just off the Asgardians of the Galaxy shirt coast of Mexico, which hit last month. The NASA video that this image is taken from is amazing and very real. It is always important to question sources and look at who has produced them, but I’m not sure why people on here would doubt NASA’s agenda. natural color” images of Earth are generated by combining three separate monochrome exposures taken by the camera in quick succession.
